Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 1 1/4 cups minute rice
- 1 small vanilla or coconut cream pie filling - not instant
- 1/4 cup raisins - optional
- 1 - well beaten, egg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make ~ old fashioned rice pudding ~

Step 1In a large saucepan, combine milk, rice, pudding mix, raisins and egg. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice.

Step 2Pour into individual dessert dishes. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Can be served warm or chilled.

Step 3If chilling before use, place plastic wrap directly on pudding.
