This is the best rice pudding so creamy and good!!!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk, 1%
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla
  • 1/4 cup raisins optional

How To Make grandma helen's rice pudding

  • Step 1
    In saucepan place milk, rice, sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 min or until rice is soft and milk is creamy.
  • Step 2
    When finished cooking place the beaten egg mixed with the water and add slowly to the pudding. Cook for about 5 min more or until it is set up. You may add raisins and vanilla at this time if you desire.
  • Step 3
    Place in bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon.
