4 cmilk, 1%
2/3 cjasmine rice
1 largeegg beaten
1 tspreal vanilla
1/4 craisins optional
How to Make Grandma Helen's Rice Pudding
- In saucepan place milk, rice, sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 min or until rice is soft and milk is creamy.
- When finished cooking place the beaten egg mixed with the water and add slowly to the pudding. Cook for about 5 min more or until it is set up. You may add raisins and vanilla at this time if you desire.
- Place in bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon.
