bisquick chocolate pudding
I made this recipe ALL OF THE TIME when I was first married. I think it came from a Bisquick cookbook. It's economical and has a rich smooth taste. I always served it with a dollop of whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon for garnish.

- 3/4 cup bisquick baking mix
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups milk
How To Make bisquick chocolate pudding
-
Step 1Combine the baking mix, sugar and cocoa in a large saucepan, breaking up large clumps of baking mix. It's ok if some clumps remain.
-
Step 2Gradually add water and milk, stirring constantly.
-
Step 3Place over medium high heat and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
-
Step 4Boil and stir for one minute.
-
Step 5Refrigerate, put plastic wrap directly on surface of pudding while chilling to prevent film from forming.
-
Step 6Serve garnished with whipped cream and cinnamon if desired.
