Ingredients
- 6 - apples
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 stick butter, cold
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large pie crust shells
How To Make vi's apple pie

Step 1Cut 1 stick of butter into small cubes, place into a 2 quart saucepan on medium heat. Wisk in flour, stirring until smooth. Add spices and apples. Simmer on medium heat.

Step 2Prepare a double crust according to recipe directions. (See sweet pie crust)

Step 3Place prepared crust into a deep dish pie pan. Add apple filling.

Step 4Dot with bits of butter. Cut second pie crust into 1" strips, create a lattice design. Bake at 425 degrees for 50 minutes.
