Ingredients

CRUST

6 oz
softened cream cheese
1 c
unsalted butter
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour

FILLING

1 c
butter, unsalted
2 c
sugar
6
egg yolks
3/4 c
strong brewed tea
1 tsp
lemon zest
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
flour
1 1/2 c
cornmeal
1 dash(es)
salt

Step-By-Step

1CRUST
In a mixing bowl beat the cream cheese, 1 cup butter until fluffy. Add the flour and mix until dough forms a ball. press dough into 9 inch pie pan. Chill for 30 minutes.
2Filling
Cream 1 cup butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks mix well. Slolwy add the tea, lemon zest and lemon juice scrape down sides of bowl with a rubber spatula
3Add 2 tablespoons flour, salt and cornmeal and mix well. Pour into pie crust.
4Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes
