Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mace
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 - beaten eggs
- 1 can 13 oz. evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1 - standard 9" pie shell, unbaked
How To Make sweet potato pie

Step 1Boil sweet potatoes until cooked. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell (or if you use your own pastry recipe, roll to 1/8" thick).

Step 2Bake in pre-heated oven at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 25 minutes or until potato custard sets.

Step 3Cool.
