Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 - unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
How To Make sweet potato pie

Step 1In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs; mix well.

Step 2Add milk, sweet potatoes, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; mix well.

Step 3Pour into pie shell.

Step 4Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees; bake 35-40 minutes longer or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.

Step 5Cool. Store in refrigerator.
