Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 packages neufchâtel, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces whipped topping, divided
- 1 pound strawberries, fresh, chopped, divided
How To Make strawberry shortcake tart

Step 1Preheat oven to 350'. Combine flour, sugar, margarine, and baking powder. Pastry cutter works great. Press and shape into 9" or 10" tart pan.

Step 2prick holes in the bottom of the crust and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crust is firm. Remove from oven and let cool on cooling rack.

Step 3Mix Neufchâtel, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in 2/3 of the container of whipped cream (about 1 1/2 cups).

Step 4Fold in strawberries and spread in crust

Step 5Top with remaining whipped topping and remaining strawberries. Refrigerate for an hour or until ready to serve
