I just love meringue. This makes a very delicious tasting meringue. I love chocolate and lemon meringue pies, but you could do this with any flavor pudding pie.

Ingredients
- 4 - egg whites
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1-2 dash salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
How To Make simple meringue

Step 1Add egg whites, vanilla, cream of tartar and salt to a bowl. Beat together on high speed of mixer, gradually beat in the sugar. Continue beating until stiff peaks form.

Step 2Spread over hot (pudding type) pie completely to edges, and bake at 425 degrees for approximately 5 minutes or until just golden on top.
