Ingredients

2 packages store bought pie crust not good at making my own but you can make your own double crust
6 - apples peeled
2 1/2 oz boxes red hots candies
1/4 cup - water
3 tbs - corn starch
1/2 tsp - nutmeg
1/2 stick butter chopped into pieces

How To Make red hot love apple pie

Step 1

pre heat oven 350 put red hots and water in saucepan on stove low heat until candy is dissolved like syrup

Step 2

chop peeled apples place in a bowl toss with corn starch and nutmeg butter until coated then toss with red hot candy syrup until coated
Step 3

apple mixture into pie shell top with top piecrust crimp edges put a couple slits in top brush with melted butter sprinkle cinnammon sugar on the top crust if you like
Step 4

bake 45 min to hour until crust is golden brown
Step 5

let cool for about 15 mins or so you serve with vanilla ice cream this is really good
