Ingredients

  • 4 - eggs lightly beaten
  • 29 ounces solid pack pumpkin or if using your own homemade pumpkin 2 cups.
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 cups heavy cream or half & half
  • 2 - 9 5/8 in. pie shells

How To Make pumpkin custard pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425*F. Combine ingredients in the order given. Divide evenly into pie shells. Bake 15 min.. Reduce heat to 350*F and bake 45 min. Depending on your oven you may need to extend cook time another 20 min. Bake until knife comes out clean.
