pear and cheddar pie
I got this recipe from a magazine years ago tweeked it to my taste. I really like it because its really simple to make. Enjoy.

Ingredients
- 6 large ripe pears(peeled and thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup sugar1
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
- TOPPPING
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
How To Make pear and cheddar pie

Step 1In a large bowl combine pears, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

Step 2Toss gently to coat pour into pie shell.

Step 3Combine cheese, sugar, flour, and salt. Using pastry cutter cut butter into above mixture until crumbly.

Step 4Sprinkle over filling.

Step 5Bake in 425 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until crust is brown and cheese is melted.
