My sister and I are both pie bakers this recipe was created because she said it wouldn't work a little rivalry there. All in fun. Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1
    unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c
    maple syrup
  • 1/4 c
    cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter (melted)
  • 1 c
    oatmeal (plus 1/2 cup)

How to Make Oatmeal Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Put oatmeal into pie crust.
  2. Mix remaining igredience and pour over oatmeal
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Tastes like pecan pie.
