This one I so simple and very, VERY easy to bake. A "cheating" pie recipe, with a homemade glazed oatmeal pecan topping. Last Tues our snow fall of 1 inch HA! Became 6 inches! Having a taste for pie I was lucky and had all the makings at home and saved a very hazardous trip to the store. When you have a taste, sometimes you just have to make do! I am sure my farm background and 60 plus years of cooking came in very handy. In joy this taste treat. Comments & ratings are appreciated.
1 tube(s)refrigerated pie crust (2 to a pkg.) ....use only one
2 can(s)apple pie filling
nextstreusel crumb topping....... can be doubled
1/4 cbrown sugar

- Pre-Heat oven to 350F.
Open frozen pie crust dough box.
Take one out and let it warm up a bit before unrolling,on your floured kitchen counter.
It will be easier to remove a slice
of the pie when done.
Or you can double the recipe and make 2 pies!
Your neighbor would love a home cooked pie!
Then unroll the dough and put in a slightly floured pie plate, ready for the canned apples.
