This recipe has all the richness of a traditional lime pie, but uses low-fat ingredients. Prep time listed does not include refrigeration time. The recipe was featured in an old Taste of Home magazine compliments of a reader from Missouri.

Ingredients

  • 1 can fat-free sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 5 - drops green food coloring (optional)
  • 1 - 8- oz. carton reduced-fat cool whip, thawed
  • 1 - 8-inch reduced-fat graham cracker crust

How To Make mile high lime pie

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine the milk, sour, cream, lime juice (all) and food coloring, if desired. Fold in whipped topping.
  • Step 2
    Pour mixture into the crust and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
