Ingredients
- 1 (9 in.) - pie crust, unbaked
- 2 cups pumpkin, canned or cooked
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- - whipped cream, if desired
How To Make mama's pumpkin pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, milk, eggs and spices. Mix well.

Step 3Pour into pie crust. Bake 15 minutes.

Step 4Reduce oven to 350 degrees and continue baking until knife inserted 1 inch from the edge comes out clean. (about 35 to 40 minutes)

Step 5Cool completely before cutting.

Step 6Garnish slices with whipped cream if desired.
