Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 3 - egg yolks
- 3 - egg whites, whipped
- 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make mama jackson's sweet potato pie

Step 1Cook potato(es) until soft. Mash or puree in a food processor until completely smooth. Add melted butter.

Step 2Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add all ingredients except vanilla and egg whites and mix on medium speed with blender for 1 1/2 minutes or until well blended.

Step 3Add vanilla and mix 30 seconds. Fold in egg whites and then pour into two pie crusts.

Step 4Bake 55 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
