Ingredients For hershey bar pie

1milk chocolate bar (8 ounces), broken into pieces

1/3 cmilk

1 1/2 cminiature or 15 large marshmallows

1 cheavy or whipping cream

sweetened whipped cream (optional)

cherry pie filling, chilled (optional)

chocolate petal crust (below)

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 csugar
-
1egg
-
1 tspvanilla

1 1/4 call purpose flour
-
1/2 cunsweetened cocoa

3/4 tspbaking soda
-
1/4 tspsalt
How To Make hershey bar pie

1Prepare Chocolate Petal Crust: Cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture. Shape soft dough into two rolls, 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Cut one roll into 1/8 inch slices; arrange slices, edges touching, on bottom and up side of greased 9 inch pie pan. (Small pieces in crust will not affect pie.) Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. Cool. Set aside.

2Melt chocolate bar pieces with milk in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted; cool completely.

3Whip cream until stiff; carefully fold into chocolate mixture. Spoon into prepared crust. Cover; chill several hours or until firm. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream or chilled cherry pie filling.
