Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 7 to 10 teaspoons ice cold water
How To Make granny's never fail pie crust

Step 1Mix flour and salt, cut in shortening until texture of cornmeal. In separate bowl, mix egg, vinegar and water. Add liquid to flour mixture. Toss gently with fork.

Step 2Divide dough into thirds. Form in balls and roll out on lightly floured surface. Bake according to recipe. For a single crust back 12 to 15 minutes at 400 degreese

Step 3If not using all crust at once, wrap dough in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator for up to a week. let dough reach room temperature before rolling out.
