How to Make Granny's Never Fail Pie Crust
- Mix flour and salt, cut in shortening until texture of cornmeal. In separate bowl, mix egg, vinegar and water. Add liquid to flour mixture. Toss gently with fork.
- Divide dough into thirds. Form in balls and roll out on lightly floured surface. Bake according to recipe. For a single crust back 12 to 15 minutes at 400 degreese
- If not using all crust at once, wrap dough in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator for up to a week. let dough reach room temperature before rolling out.
