My sweet daughter has been under the weather, so made her one of her faves. It made her day! This is not an overly strong chocolate pie. Just right. The sweetened milk gives it it's silky texture. Yum! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- PUDDING
- 1/3 cup unsweetened, cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1 2/3 cups water
- 1 - 14 ounces can, sweetened condensed milk
- 3 - large egg yolks, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 tablespoons softened, butter
- fresh - whipped topping & chocolate curls if desired for garnish
How To Make ~ creamy chocolate graham pie ~

Step 1Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until evenly moistened. Press into a 9 inch pie plate and bake at 350 degrees F for 10-13 minutes, until lightly golden. Cool before filling.

Step 2Filling: Combine the cocoa powder and cornstarch in a large (3 quart) saucepan.

Step 3Add the water and whisk until smooth. Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks until smooth.

Step 4Place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Cook, whisking constantly, until mixture thickens (it should take about 5 minutes). When thick continue whisking for another 30 or 40 seconds,remove from the heat and whisk in the butter. When butter is melted, whisk in vanilla.

Step 5Set a piece of plastic wrap over the surface and let cool for about 10 - 15 minute before pouring into the pie shell crust. Chill the pie for several hours.

Step 6Top with whipped cream and some chocolate curls if desired.
