This is a recipe that I received from my mom many years ago. Perfect for hot summer days when you want to serve an impressive dessert, but just can't bear to use the oven in the summer heat. Lovely garnished with fresh lemons, whipped cream and fruit freshly picked from the garden such as raspberries and strawberries.

After a long, hot day, try serving this to your family and friends with a tall, frosty glass of lemonade.
