1-9 inch
pie shell
3
eggs
1/2 c
sugar
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
vanilla
1 1/2 c
milk
1/2 c
half and half
1 c
shredded coconut

How to Make Coconut Custard Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
  • 3Warm milk and half and half and pour slowly into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  • 4Stir in coconut and pour into pie crust.
  • 5Bake for at least 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. (Baking times may vary, depending on your oven.)
  • 6Serve slightly warm or chilled. Store in refrigerator.
