Ingredients
- 1-9 inch - pie shell
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 cup shredded coconut
How To Make coconut custard pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.

Step 3Warm milk and half and half and pour slowly into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Step 4Stir in coconut and pour into pie crust.

Step 5Bake for at least 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. (Baking times may vary, depending on your oven.)

Step 6Serve slightly warm or chilled. Store in refrigerator.
