2unbaked pie shells
2 stickbutter, room temperature
3 3/4 csugar
1/2 call purpose flour
1/3 ccocoa powder
1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
How to Make Chocolate Buttermilk Pie
- Combine sugar and butter and mix until well blended.
- Beat in the eggs and mix well. Combine and whisk the flour, cocoa, and salt until mixed then add to the butter mixture.
- Add buttermilk and vanilla to the mixture.
- pour into pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool completely before cutting. Store left over pie in the refrigerator.
