Ingredients
- 2 - unbaked pie shells
- 2 sticks butter, room temperature
- 3 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 6 - eggs
- 14 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 10 ounces buttermilk
How To Make chocolate buttermilk pie

Step 1Combine sugar and butter and mix until well blended.

Step 2Beat in the eggs and mix well. Combine and whisk the flour, cocoa, and salt until mixed then add to the butter mixture.

Step 3Add buttermilk and vanilla to the mixture.

Step 4pour into pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool completely before cutting. Store left over pie in the refrigerator.
