1envelope unflavored gelatin

1 cmilk

2/3 csugar

6 Tbspunsweetened cocoa

1 Tbsplight corn syrup

2 Tbspbutter

3/4 cmilk

3/4 tspvanilla

1 cheavy or whipping cream
How To Make chocolate bavarian pie

1Bake crumb crust; set aside. Sprinkle gelatin onto 1 cup milk in medium saucepan; let stand 5 minutes to soften. Combine sugar and cocoa; add to mixture in saucepan. Stir in corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; remove from heat. Add butter; stir until melted. Blend in 3/4 cup milk and the vanilla. Pour into large mixer bowl. Cool to room temperature; chill until almost set.

2Whip cream until stiff. Whip chocolate mixture on medium speed until smooth. Blend half the whipped cream into chocolate mixture on low speed just until smooth. Pour into cooled crust; chill until set. Top with remaining chilled whipped topping.
