I found this on my computer & it just sounded so good that I wonted to put it on Just A Pinch. Hope every one enjoys the pie.

Ingredients

1/2 cup buttermilk
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons flour
pinch of salt
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
dash nutmeg

How To Make buttermilk pie

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degree

Step 2

Mix everything together (except Nutmeg) pour into an unbaked 9inch pie shell. Sprinkle the Nutmeg lightly over the pie.
Step 3

Bake 15 min. Reduce oven to 350 degree, bake 45 min. Remove from oven & springle lightly with Nutmeg. Let pie cool so filling will set.
Step 4

Enjoy.
