Ingredients

  • 1 - double crust pie crust
  • 4 cups frozen blueberries, thawed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • - juice of one lemon
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch

How To Make blueberry pie

  • Step 1
    Combine filling ingredients. Allow to sit for a few minutes to accumulate juices.
  • Step 2
    Line 9" pie pan with one crust. Pour blueberry filling into crust and top with the other crust. Cut slits in top.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 425 for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and continue baking for another 45 - 55 minutes or until brown.
  • Step 4
    Note -- If using fresh berries, crush one cup to make juice.
  • Step 5
    Note -- For a brown crust, brush with a little milk and lightly sprinkle sugar on top.
