When I was a child, my great aunt made these pies for all the family get togethers. Her actual name was Hattie Lena but we called her Nene.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz.) jar(s)
    maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg
    cool whip
  • 2
    graham cracker crusts
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 2 (15.25 o can(s)
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c
    sweetened, flaked coconut

How to Make Aunt Nene's Millionaire Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. In a bowl, mix milk and Cool Whip.
  2. Add pineapple, pecans, cherries and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Pour into the crusts.
  4. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
