1In a small bowl, combine sugars, flour & spices; set aside. In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add sugar mixture - toss well to coat. Line a 9" pie pan with half of the pastry. Place apple filling into crust; dot with butter. Put remaining pastry crust on top.
2Bake at 375 for 35 minutes, increase temp to 400 and bake for 10-15 minutes more.
