Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked pie shell [9 in.]
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
- 6 cups peeled apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour [heaping]
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- SPICY PECAN TOPPING
- 1/4 cup butter, cold
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
How To Make apple pecan pie

Step 1Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped pecans in unbaked pie shell

Step 2Combine apples,sugar,cinnamon,and nutmeg. Turn into pie shell on top of pecans.

Step 3Mix first 3 topping ingredience using pastry blender or fork. Add pecans, spread on top of apples.

Step 4Bake in hot oven [425 degrees] 40to45 minutes or until apples are tender and pie top is a rich brown.
