world class pumpkin bars
I love pumpkin bars but could never find one I was satisfied with. I found a few recipes that were tolerable, then tweaked them to make it mine.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 - lg eggs, room temperature
- 2 cups pumpkin (1 16oz can)
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1 package cream cheese (8oz)
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
How To Make world class pumpkin bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Mix all ingredients together and pour on a greased 11 1/2 x 19 baking pan. Bake for 30 min. then frost when cool.

Step 3For Frosting: the amounts that I have given for the frosting can be cut in 1/2 if you don't like thick frosting. Cream together the last 5 ingredients (cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, milk & vanilla) together til creamy. Frost cake. Enjoy!
