Made this special recipe for my Granddaughter who wanted to make it for her boyfriend for his 26th birthday. I usually make this sugar free and light fat for my husband who is diabetic. So instead I made it with regular ingredients for my granddaughter and wrote it down. She said, he loved it and so I am sharing with regular ingredients for all of my friends on "just a pinch".... If anyone would like the diabetic version just let me know...Enjoy
1Combine Cream Cheese, Sour Cream & 2 tbsp. Heavy cream. Mix with electric mixer until blended & fluffy. (Substitute for Mascarpone Cheese.)
2Combine Instant Vanilla pudding & 1 cup heavy cream until thickened by hand. (Substitute for custard.)
3Combine 1 and 2 until blended then FOLD in Coolwhip slowly till blended thourghly.
4In Square 8 X 8 Glass Baking Dish, line bottom with Ladyfinger halves, brush with Kahlua according to taste. Spoon half of Custard/Coolwhip over Ladyfingers.
Repeat Ladyfingers, Kahlua and remainder of Custard/Coolwhip. Garnish top with Cocoa Powder using a strainer or small sifter.
5Cover and Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Can also garnish with Shaved Chocolate when serving... Enjoy
