Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 - egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 4 - egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans,optional
How To Make pudding bar

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees and grease 8x8 baking dish.

Step 2Cream the butter and sugar.Add single egg yolk and vanilla and beat till fluffy.

Step 3Add the flour and the salt and blend till just combined.Refrigerate dough for 15 minutes.

Step 4Flour hands and press the dough 1/4 inch thick on bottom and up the sides about 1 inch of baking dish. Put in frigerator while preparing filling.

Step 5Filling; Combine sugar and cornstarch and mix well. Beat 4 egg yolks 5 minutes till fluffy.

Step 6Add cornstarch mixture and mix till combined. Add vanilla,whipping cream,chocolate chips and nuts and blend well.

Step 7Pour into baking dish and bake 55-60 minutes. Let cool and chill.
