    sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 2 c
    oats, regular
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How to Make Peanut Butter Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease 13x8 pan.
  2. Cream together sugars and butter. Add vanilla,eggs and 1 cup peanut butter and mix well.
  3. Stir in oats,flour,baking soda, and salt. Spread dough in pan and bake 15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While hot spread remaining 1 1/2 cups peanut butter on top.Cool.
  5. Can frost with chocolate frosting; 1/2 cup butter,1/4 cup milk,1 teaspoon vanilla,3 tablespoons cocoa,2-3 cups powdered sugar. Beat all ingredients till smooth. Can add more milk or powdered sugar to your likeing
