marshmallow treats
Special Note: The 1941 original rice cereal recipe called for 1/4 c. butter and 5 c. cereal. Over the years they changed it to 3 T. butter and 6 c. cereal. (I guess to make it healthier??) I find that when you use the new recipe the treats are dry and tend to fall apart. I stick with the old original recipe! Hint- try adding a dash of salt or vanilla for great flavor.
