Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 3/4 sticks butter at room temperature
- 1 jar 10-12 oz. apricot or raspberry preserves
How To Make jam bars

Step 1Mix all ingredients except the preserves. Press one half of this mixture into a buttered 8 inch square pan or a small rectangular pan.

Step 2Spread with a 10-12 ounce jar of preserves

Step 3Sprinkle second half of the mixture over the top of the preserves and pat lightly.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until light brown. Let cool completely and then cut into squares. Taste yummy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream when still warm from the oven.
