cream cheese tarts
This is one of my favorite dessert recipes and is easy to make. Whenever I bring this to a party, they are a hit!

Ingredients
- 3 packages 8 ounce cream cheese - softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 - eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- TOPPING
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 20 - cupcake papers
How To Make cream cheese tarts

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 deg.

Step 2Combine softened cream cheese and sugar.

Step 3Beat in one egg at a time until thoroughly mixed.

Step 4Add vanilla and mix thoroughly.

Step 5Pour mixture into cupcake papers until 2/3 full.

Step 6Cook at 300 deg. oven for 40 minutes.

Step 7Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes. Center will fall slightly. Leave oven on while cooling.

Step 8While cooling, prepare topping by mixing the sour cream, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.

Step 9After cooling for 10 minutes, spoon topping onto tarts.

Step 10Place back in 300 deg. oven for 10 more minutes.

Step 11Serve plain or adorn with preserves, fruit, or sprinkles.
