1Heat oven to 350 deg. Cream together with a mixer, 1st 4 ingredients. Add, stirring, flour (1 C at a time), salt and 1/2 C pecans. Spread in 9X13 baking pan, and bake for 25 min. or until slightly browned.
2Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle choc chips on top. When melted completely, spread chocolate evenly. Add remaining pecans. Cool before cutting into squares.
3Optional...I sometimes use hazelnuts, walnuts, and drizzle a little caramel on top (messy).
