2 cpowdered sugar

1 cvanilla wafer crumbs (30 wafers)

1 cground almonds (4 ounces whole)

1/2 cunsweetened cocoa

6-7 Tbspmilk

cherry almond filling (below)

candied cherry halves
- FOR THE CHERRY ALMOND FILLING

1 pkg3 ounces cream cheese, softened

2 cpowdered sugar
-
1 tspvanilla
-
1/4 tspalmond extract
-
1/2 ccoarsely chopped blanched almonds

1/4 ccandied cherries, quartered
How To Make chocolate cherry mini tarts

1Combine powdered sugar, wafer crumbs, ground almonds, and cocoa in medium mixing bowl. Sprinkle in milk, mixing until ingredients are moistened and cling together. Shape into walnut size pieces; place in small paper lined muffin cups (1 3/4 inches in diameter). Press dough against bottom and up side of each cup to form shell; chill until firm.

2Prepare Cherry Almond Filling: Beat cream cheese in small mixer bowl. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and almond extract; beat until well blended. Stir in almonds and cherries. Spoon into tart shells. Garnish with candied cherry halves. Chill until firm.
