My husband loves desserts and sweets in all forms. So I was trying to incorporate something healthy and reduce the fat and sugar from a regular brownie and came up with this. Hope you enjoy this healthy sugar free dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can 1/2 can of chickpeas rinsed & drained
  • 1 cup oats, uncooked powdered
  • 2 packages truvia sweetner
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3 tablespoons skinny mixes, espresso chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons brazil nuts chopped fine (any nuts will work)
  • 15 - dark chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons almond butter

How To Make chickpea brownie

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    In a mixer, add the chick peas and pulse to a smooth texture.
  • Step 3
    Add the dry ingredients and mix well. (save the chocolate chips)
  • Step 4
    Add the eggs, almond butter and the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Add the chocolate chips and mix again.
  • Step 6
    Pour into a greased 6" cake pan and bake in a pre heated 350 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
