My family's tradition was after trick or treating we would come home and my grandmother or mom would have apples cut up for us to dip in the fondue and then a bowl of chopped up peanuts to roll in after. It is sooooo yummy! My sister and I have continued the tradition with our kids too. My teenagers still look forward to it every year, but it is good anytime!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can eagle brand milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make carmel fondue

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in sugar, corns syrup and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Then stir in milk and vanilla. Then serve.
  • Step 2
    This makes a lot and you can cover it and store in the fridge and heat back up later. Great with granny smith apples.
