Ingredients

1 c
all-purpose flour
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c
butter or margarine
1/2 c
sour cream
1
egg, beaten
3/4 tsp
baking soda
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
fresh blackberries
confectioners' sugar, sifted

Step-By-Step

1Combine the flour and brown sugar.
2Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
3Press 1 1/3 cups of the mixture into an ungreased 8-inch pan.
4Combine the remaining crumb mixture, sour cream, egg, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract, and blend well.
5Stir in the blackberries, and spoon over the crust.
6Spread evenly.
7Bake at 350F for 35 minutes.
8Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
