Ingredients
- 1 20 oz cans crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
- 2 1/2 cups marshmallows, mini
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 8 oz packages cool whip
- 2 cups apples, diced (do not peel)
- 1 1/4 cups peanuts (optional)
How To Make taffy apple salad

Step 1Mix pineapple and marshmallows. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 2Combine flour, pineapple juice, sugar, vinegar, and egg. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 3The next day, mix cool whip with pineapple and marshmallows. Add to the pineapple juice mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Chill until ready to serve.
