Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans 20 oz each pineapple chucks drained
  • 6 tablespoons reserved pineapple juice
  • 1 cup ritz crackers
  • 1 stick butter melted,plus some for greasing pan

How To Make pineapple casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    Grease a med-size casserole with butter
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl stir together the sugar and flour.Gradually stir in the cheese.Add the drained pineapple chucks and stir until ingredients are well combined.Pour into the greased casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    In a medium bowl combine the crackers melted butter and remaining pineapple juice stirring until well blended.Spread crumb over top of pineapple mixture
  • Step 5
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown
