With pears plentiful I make this cobbler several times in the summer. It is always welcomed by my family and dinner guests!

How to Make Pear Cobbler


  1. Mix flour, sugar and ginger
  2. Peel and slice fresh pears
  3. Mix pears and flour mixture
  4. Put into casserole dish sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees stirring occasionally until fork tender.
  5. Remove and cover with pie crust. Dot with butter and bake until golden brown. Serve with whipped cream.
