I don't remember where I got this recipe from yrs ago, but have been making them since the 80's. They are so good! You can use just about any jam or jelly that you like.

  • 2 can(s)
    refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, 10 biscuits each can
  • 1/4 c
    strawberry or blackberry jam
  • 2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make Easy jelly-filled donuts


  1. Lay out biscuits and flatten each one slightly. Place a little jam in center of 1/2 of the biscuits.
  2. Top w/ another biscuit. Pinch edges to seal. Heat oil in lg deep skillet. Carefully place biscuits in oil in batches. Fry about 4 mins, turning once.
  3. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle donuts w/ powdered sugar.
