1 can(s)
apple pie filling, or your favorite
1/2 c
butter, melted
1 1/2 c
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon - divided
1/4 c
each - granulated sugar & packed brown sugar
1/4 c
old fashioned oats
1/3 c
chopped pecans
of raisins - optional

1Preheat oven to 425 degree F.

I used my iron skillet for this dessert. You can use a 9 inch pie plate or another oven safe skillet.

Pour pie filling into pan and chop up apples some, to evenly distribute. I then added a handful of raisins. Sprinkle with 1/2 the cinnamon...If you want more filling than topping, add an extra can of pie filling.
2In a medium bowl add the flour, pecans, sugars, the other half of the cinnamon, and oats. Toss well.
3Pour in the melted butter and toss together until you have all dry ingredients moistened. I use my fingers.
4Spread crumb mixture evenly onto a baking sheet and bake for roughly 5 minutes or until begins to brown.
5Once cool, sprinkle evenly over pie filling.

Place back into oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden. My oven went on the blinks half way through baking and burnt my top some...luckily I caught it in time.
6Serve warm with a big scoop of ice cream...yummy!
