When you're not in the mood to make pie dough an Apple Crisp will always do in a pinch. Sweet tender apples and a crispy topping go great with some vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 8 - golden delicious apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 - rounded teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - topping
- 1 - rounded cup packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 - rounded cup flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats (not quick-cooking)
- 1 - rounded tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - stick butter, melted
How To Make easy apple crisp

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Spray 13x9 baking pan with non-stick spray. Peel, core and slice apples.

Step 2In medium bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle over cut apples in baking pan. Dot with butter.

Step 3In a food processor or mini chopper. combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and salt. Pulse processor until mixture is small but not fine.

Step 4Mix with melted butter until it reaches a crumbly consistency. Sprinkle mixture evenly on top of apples. Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown; about 1 hour. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
