I wanted a way to use up a leftover bag of cranberries and now I buy them on purpose to make this awesome torte

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cranberries, fresh
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

How To Make cranberry torte

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Step 2
    Grease a round pie plate
  • Step 3
    Pour cranberries into pie plate
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar
  • Step 5
    Beat eggs in a bowl and add remaining one cup of sugar, melted butter, flour, salt and walnuts
  • Step 6
    Blend together then pour over cranberries
  • Step 7
    Bake for one hour
  • Step 8
    Cool, then serve with whipped cream
