If you never know just what to do with leftover cranberry sauce this is a great recipe. It's an especially nice treat to whip up for overnight family guests the morning after Thanksgiving. Or if you love to use fresh cranberries instead of sauce that's good too.

Ingredients
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup fresh cranberries or 1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
How To Make cranberry squares

Step 1Beat eggs for 1 minute. Add sugar and beat for 2 minutes more.

Step 2Whisk in flour, baking powder, and butter.

Step 3Stir in cranberries and orange zest (optional)

Step 4Spread into a greased 8-inch square pan.

Step 5Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into 16 bars.
