I love cranberries and I love apples and my favorite season is fall, this brings the three together in a lovely and simple way. I hope some of you try it and enjoy it.

This makes approximately 10 1/2 cup servings
Ingredients
- 6 large fuji apples (or your favorite apple), peeled and diced
- 1 package fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup craisins
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make cran-apple sauce

Step 1Put everything together in a saucepan, EXCEPT THE CRAISINS, and bring to a boil over hi heat, while stirring.

Step 2Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries pop open and mixture starts to thicken (12-16 min)

Step 3Remove from heat and stir in Craisins. Cool.

Step 4Once cooled, cover and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
