I love cranberries and I love apples and my favorite season is fall, this brings the three together in a lovely and simple way. I hope some of you try it and enjoy it.

Ingredients For cran-apple sauce

  • 6 lg
    fuji apples (or your favorite apple), peeled and diced
  • 1 pkg
    fresh cranberries
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    craisins
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make cran-apple sauce

  • 1
    Put everything together in a saucepan, EXCEPT THE CRAISINS, and bring to a boil over hi heat, while stirring.

    Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries pop open and mixture starts to thicken (12-16 min)

    Remove from heat and stir in Craisins. Cool.

    Once cooled, cover and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
